Uncle Dave Lewis lives in a hole in the back of his brain, filled with useless trivia about 78 rpm records, silent movies, unfinished symphonies, broken up punk bands from the 80s and other old stuff no one cares about. This is where he goes to let off a little steam- perhaps you will find it useful, perhaps not. Who knows?

Get Out the Boxes, the Hand Truck, the Strapping Tape...

Actually not just yet. Looks like we will indeed have to move, but not nearly as soon as I had thought. Also it appears we do have some options in terms of time and where to go. It will likely a lateral move within the same complex - sounds easy, but it ain't.

Nonetheless that's WAY better than what it looked like last Saturday!

Hey! Check out an Uncle Dave Radio Show, Live, On the Web, Seventeen years Ago

That's right! The downloadable Art Damage programming has begun at:

http://www.artdamage.org

go to the "Media Downloads" section and you can download the second half of the Art Damage First Anniversary show, originally aired 4/10/1986, which I hosted. There should be an option to stream and to download, but it seems only to download at the moment. Once you have downloaded it, then it does sort of stream if you open the Art Damage page, which is weird because you are playing this file and you don't know how or where it's coming from.

Anyway it's up. It is an hour-long show and, even for an mp3., a rather large file. If you don't think your browser can handle it, you can try out the other stuff that's already up. I have a broadband connection and downloaded the whole program in just four minutes.
