Uncle Dave Lewis lives in a hole in the back of his brain, filled with useless trivia about 78 rpm records, silent movies, unfinished symphonies, broken up punk bands from the 80s and other old stuff no one cares about. This is where he goes to let off a little steam- perhaps you will find it useful, perhaps not. Who knows?

I, Uncle Dave Lewis, will present my annual three-hour long Halloween radio special tomorrow morning October 28th. The featured work in the classical portion will be Joseph Achron's "Golem Suite" (1932) and I will also feature works by Berlioz, Mussorgsky, George Crumb and Lou Harrison.

The antique phono feature will be Len Spencer's 1905 cylinder "Transformation Scene from Dr, Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," and in the pop section we will hear works by Raymond Scott, Alvino Rey, Anton Szandor La Vey and, of course, the popular perennial "The Chicken Heart" by Arch Oboler.

To hear the show "Listen Live" at
www.wcbn.org or if you are in Ann Arbor tune into 88.3 FM. Below is the time zone listings for the various places where the show has had positive response:

EST 6:00am-9:00am
PST 3:00am-6:00am
Europe 12:00 noon-3:00pm

thank you,

Uncle Dave Lewis
