Uncle Dave Lewis lives in a hole in the back of his brain, filled with useless trivia about 78 rpm records, silent movies, unfinished symphonies, broken up punk bands from the 80s and other old stuff no one cares about. This is where he goes to let off a little steam- perhaps you will find it useful, perhaps not. Who knows?

de fenote denotes

de fenestra practice this afternoon in southfield mi. lineup is pbk, will soderberg, me.

nine pieces recorded, the first two by will & pbk before I got there, and then five more
before we broke for dinner. we ate at a thai restaurant that was two doors down from a
record store. i didn't like the food, but I sure liked the record store. i got some stuff from
the throwout bin that was pretty good - worn out blues & gospel 78s, one of andy williams
on cadence, 101 strings play the blues etc. Then we went back and did 2 more pieces,
neither likely as strong as the earlier stuff. we recorded a real nice turntable trio today.
