Uncle Dave Lewis lives in a hole in the back of his brain, filled with useless trivia about 78 rpm records, silent movies, unfinished symphonies, broken up punk bands from the 80s and other old stuff no one cares about. This is where he goes to let off a little steam- perhaps you will find it useful, perhaps not. Who knows?

Uncle Dave On Air 7/5 Bright and Early

I certainly hope you all enjoyed your Fourth of July festivities.

I don't expect any of you to be up after this holiday, but if some reason you are I'm on the air from 6-9 am Eastern Standard Time at www.wcbn.org

While it's not "anti-patriotic," Mr. Hunchback did a great July 4th themed show last week and I am turning my attention this week to Milhaud's ballet "Les Songes," music by Silvestrov, CPE Bach, Ives and Lithuanian "futurist" Vytautas Bacevicius in the classical section and a "world music" section in the last part to celebrate the death in Congress of the Immigration Bill.

So, if you can stand to be up at that hour, please join me.
